I'll try to make this as short as possible. I was hit by another car, who fled the scene but I was able to get her license plate, made and model of her car. Her insurance is covering the body damage for my car but I'm having problems with the medical part of all this. In all, I have had two visits with my doctor and he sent me to the hospital for xrays. I found out that it's because it's illegal to get this information because it is private information? Why is that? Ok, here's what's going on. i am basically a new driver and have passed my test 18 march last year. the time has come for me getting a car, however the insurance premiums are ridiculously high. I have used the comparing websites, but they offer no real result, so I phoned a few up. This is what they gave me, I was asking for a quote, on an 04 Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamic with 3 doors. Co-operative insurance 4645 (Full Comp) Direct line Over 3000(Full Comp) (they wouldn't give an accurate result, I'd have to be transferred onto another dept.) Quinn Direct 6000 (Third party, Fire & Theft only, i was then informed that their premiums where increased) All in my own name and not under any parents, however it seems like the best option at the moment. I do know about a few companies that specialise in young driver insurance, one called Young Marmalade and another called i-Kube. Both are cheaper, but there are catches to policies, i-Kube requires you to have a GPS tracker fitted, if you drive passed 11PM at night a 100 Penalty is incurred, and for each night you drive past said time. with young marmalade you need to have the pass plus scheme. I also know that premiums are subject to a post code area rating. (CH 62) so if anyone could tell me where cheap insurance for this type of car is I would be great-full.

My insurance company wants to use reconditioned parts, and they are pressuring us to accept a check made out to us and the finance company. Not enough to pay it off or fix it. My vehicle is a loaded Suzuki Grand Vitara with all kinds of electronic stuff. Which were mostly scattered across the road after the deer committed suicide. They (the insurance company) had it towed to my home after the accident because there were no dealers in the area and my home was about 100 miles closer than Dallas. Now they are saying we have to pay to have it towed the 100 miles to the nearest dealer, or use someone local. They are also saying that we contacted the towing company and they are the ones who arranged the tow. There is no one local (car repair shop) who can work on it and get it right. I am afraid if we use someone local it won't be fixed right. The estimate they gave us has parts coming from a salvage and reconditioned parts dealers. I need to find a lawyer who can make them fix it right. If it can't be fixed right then I need them to total it. I have looked in the yellow pages and all of the accident attorneys want injuries. What kind of attorney do I need for just auto damage? I have never sued anyone before. HELP!!!

i have been with the same car insurance company ever since i past my test 3 years ago, 2 years ago a neighbour accused me of backing into his car I NEVER, i phoned my car insurance company to notify them there was a claim being made against me just to keep them up to date in case they had a phone call from anyone!, Anyway after weeks of Police investigation i managed to prove i was not involved and no claim was ever made, i thought this had all disappeared but now 2 years later and still with the SAME company they are saying i have lied on my no claims and have told me by letter they no longer wish to insure me, then 5 days later they took there payment from my bank ? i only received the letter this morning (sat) and none of the offices are open until mon, i am so worried they wont reinstate my car insurance ? has anyone else been in the same situation ? and what was the outcome ? ( and they also said in the letter that i would have to pay the outstanding amount on my policy withing 7 days or they will send me to a debt collector ?

I am currently on COBRA insurance paying $472.00 a month. I have been trying to find an individual plan on my own and have been denied twice for pre-exisitng condtions. How can I have pre-existing conditions when I have health care for 7 years with lapse in coverage. THE HIPPA law states that if you have had continuous coverage for at least 12 months without a 63 day break in coverage, then the pre -existing limitations wouldn't apply. The cop did not give police report to me as he said I would not need it in the state of florida for a claim but he warned me that my insurance premiums could possibly go up if i file a claim. I have full coverage insurance, Why would my premium go up?? When I called my insurance company they said to wait for the claims department to contact me. I was rear ended 4 years ago and I got a lawyer only because the damage and injuries were bad, This is not even close to being as severe as far as damage and injuries go.
