I need help choosing my first car. Mustang vs Mustang vs MINI?

I will be buying my first car soon and I have a few choices to pick from. I'll have to pay for everything myself (insurance, fuel, maintenance, etc.). I'm trying to narrow my choices by choosing between a 2005 Mustang v6 (has 50k miles and is an auto :c) and a 2004 Mustang v6 (has 80K miles and is a manual c:). I found both of these cars at an auction site I'll be going to with my father next week (he's mechanically inclined lol truck driver) and I'm nervous since it's likely I won't be able to check for many issues other then auto check. I don't need much power so I don't mind having a v6 (because I'll work my way up to the newer models heh heh heh). Anyway, which should I choose should I decide to get a Mustang? I mostly need it to get to school and work; maybe an occasional mini road trip to LA (twice a year; I live in the Bay Area too so weather isn't a problem). Also, are they difficult to drive? The front seems so long on the 2005.... please take hating on the v6 elsewhere Also, I found a 2008 Mini Cooper for a suspiciously low price from a private dealer (4cyl, 79K miles but it used to be a fleet vehicle and I still need to run it through autocheck). I could test drive this one and run it by a mechanic but the seller lives 2 hours away... Insurance for the either of the two Mustangs would be around $60 a month with Geico (I'm 19 so I had to look for the cheapest branch I could find). My dad has a ford so he would be able to help me with the Mustangs. However, I don't know anyone with a MINI that could give me advice. Hi we've been with USAA for over 10 yrs now for our Auto/Recreation insurance company. This month on our bill i noticed our rates went up by 35+ dollars per month. I called and they said nothing has changed in our policy. They told us because the dates our policy renewed we have an extra bill in this cycle. So they had to charge us more so we wouldn't have to pay 2 bills in 1 month. I am so confused it seems like were making an extra payment for nothing. We Pay every month on time , so I'm not sure why we have to pay an extra payment to avoid a double billing. Both of the drivers involved in the road rage were charged with reckless driving, and one of them even got arrested. Our question is this: she has $1400 in damage to her vehicle. I lived in Arizona last year and still am in the Tricare West system (out of Luke AFB), although I now live in Ohio. I hurt my ankle several weeks ago and still can't bend it certain ways, and am beginning to suspect a hairline fracture...if I go to the ER (nowhere near any military facilities, especially not with hospitals), and put down my insurance company, will Tricare pay for it (including poss. There is construction on my building and while my car was parked in it's space apparently a rock or some piece of concrete from my building must have hit my moonroof and shattered it completely. I must have this fixed ASAP and am still working out who between my condo association and the construction company are going to pay for this. In the meantime I need to know if I call Geico about this incident will I be in jeopardy of having my rates increased? The car was parked in it's space, I was not driving, and it was not my fault. Why is my car insurance quote cheaper?

My insurance ends this month so last week i just did a quote out of curiosity claiming i had a 1 years no claims bonus which i should get end of this month, which said it would be 10 cheaper. I did it last night but this time i put i had NO no claims bonus and it came up saying its 40 cheaper! I went for that one but does it matter that i havnt put in my bonus? I havnt got one yet anyway cause i needed to sort it out asap

I have a 93 camry and I'm trying to look for a new car to replace it. I asked my insurance company about the cost of insurance for a 2009 honda civic EX sedan 4 door and it was 536 every 6 months. Researched that car more to find out it was in an accident so scratched that car out of the picture. I found a 2007 honda civic EX coupe 2 door and no accidents and i see nothing wrong with it. They are both EX but the coupe is older. Would the insurance be much of a difference?

Hello. Like I already mentioned, I am 23 years old and am still living at home with my parents who have been out of work for over 3 years. I have a part time job at the moment, and am wondering what my options are for affordable health insurance in the state of nj. My parents are currently on Medicaid, but since i am over the age of 21 and have no kids of my own I don't qualify. What are some of my options? I currently have no health insurance.

I just purchased a new 2012 Honda Civic, and I gave my old 2000 VW Golf to my brother in Indiana (I'm in Wisconsin), and the golf is insured. However, I have yet to renew my policy to insure my new civic. So my question is, is there a grace period for renewing my policy? I have the new policy set up and just have to give them the vehicle VIN # and pay to activate the new policy but I no longer have the Golf so should I not drive my civic to work tomorrow since it is illegal to operate a vehicle without auto insurance? I don't want to get pulled over and then risk having my license suspended since I don't have the new insurance cards/policy activated at that moment for the civic. I plan on activating the new plan the next morning. Can someone please let me know?

So over a year my mom and I bought a car in her name when I graduated college. The car is registered in her name but I make the payments. Well my parents are divorced and I moved in with my dad due to the fact my ex lives down the street from my moms house and other family issues. I have live with him for almost a whole year, no problem. My billing address is still my moms house and my driver license has her address on it. My mail still goes to her house and it is the residence that I claim. Well now my mom is saying that unless I move back in I can't be on her car insurance. She says they are going to come out to the house and see if I actually live there. My mom hates my dad and hates that I live with him so she's been trying to get me to come live with her. I recently lost all 3 jobs that I was working so she's been really pushing moving in with here lately I just way to know if I can still be on her insurance legally. I can't get on my dads till October because of financial issues.
